2018 - The Convent Vineyard
In the vintage 2018 the right phenolic maturity was reached for the third time in 20 years. The 2018 vintage was characterized by a hot and somewhat dry summer. Vineyards were managed by choosing a unilateral peeling done in different phases to continue to protect the grapes from any burns on the berries. The management of the foliar apparatus has allowed us to achieve the complex goal of bringing the fruit to maturity without losing acidity. Right now the wine has a complex and harmonious structure, together with excellent verticality and great elegance.
