The Sant'Eusanio vineyard suffers less the frost. The heaviest cold air cannot stay long time in this parcel located in the highest part of the Popoli’s plateau in a descending position. However, the April 26’s frost has compromised few gems, operating a natural thinning helping the maturation thanks to the warm summer. This 2016 version replicates the 2015, with an unprecedented structure for this parcel that, more frequently, gives a Montepulciano more elegant than a powerful. Regular fermentation without interruptions with a tendency to reach quite high temperatures, perhaps because of the heat.
