Trebbiano d'Abruzzo DOC Vigna di Capestrano 2012
Excellent vintage, characterized by intense rainfall but limited to a few days without creating situations of excessive humidity. The maturation took place without plant diseases.We have harvested ripe and healthy grapes. We harvested earlier than in the early years even though the final performance of the grapes was rather low. There has been an increase in the thinkess of the lees which has contributed to increasing the complexity of the wine and to protecting them from rot phenomena. The fermantation have started well, slow and without hitch also thanks to the mild temperatures of late August.
